Mix-Image reinvented: XXL e-commerce under WordPress & WooCommerce in record time

Faced with the Covid crisis, Mix-Image, a Lausanne-based pop-culture reference, needed to make an urgent shift to e-commerce. Geekworkers rose to the challenge with a race against time: in less than two months, a complete online store (WordPress/WooCommerce) was launched, integrating more than 10,000 multi-vendor references and offering fans an immersive and captivating shopping experience.

To meet this strategic challenge, we combined our expertise in agile management, e-commerce development and structured data integration:

Accelerated implementation of a complete online store (< 2 months)

Strategy: Rapid prototyping and accelerated WordPress/WooCommerce development

Through rigorous planning via figma and Loom, the architecture and design were validated quickly. WordPress and WooCommerce provided a solid and scalable foundation, accelerating the deployment of key e-commerce functionalities: catalog, shopping cart, checkout and customer accounts.

Massive, multi-vendor deployment of +10,000 products with fluidity

Strategy: Automation of imports with Python (Scrapy) and standardization via Google Sheets

The catalog was efficiently integrated using custom Python scripts, aggregating and standardizing multi-vendor data using Google Sheets for consistent import and regular updates in WooCommerce.

Creating an immersive and powerful shopping experience for fans

Strategy: Custom design (Elementor/Crocoblock) with advanced technical optimization

The interface, designed with Elementor Pro and enhanced with Crocoblock, offers a custom, responsive design. WP Rocket and Imagify ensure smooth navigation for users, even with a large catalog.

Development of the customer portfolio and operational continuity

Strategy: Solid e-commerce foundation with essential marketing and logistics tools

The platform offers several payment methods (Twint, Visa, MasterCard), tools for operational management (WooCommerce PDF Invoice, Woo Discount Rules, Flexible Shipping), optimized SEO (Rank Math, Semrush) and precise monitoring via GTM, GA and Search Console thanks to Site Kit.
