We designed and developed an entirely new online shop on WordPress and WooCommerce, with performance and scalability in mind. The emphasis was on solid architecture and an intuitive user experience (UX), using Elementor Pro and Crocoblock to create a rich and attractive interface, positioning the site from the outset as a quality reference in its field.

Effectively managing a complex catalog

Strategy: Advanced data structuring and simplified management tools

Faced with the challenge of a catalogue of over 600 products and around twenty categories, we implemented JetEngine (part of the Crocoblock ecosystem) to structure the product data in fine detail (custom post types, taxonomies, meta fields). The integration of WP Sheet Editor drastically simplified the management and mass import/export of the catalogue for the client, ensuring efficient administration despite the complexity.

Develop an engaging content hub

Strategy: Native integration of the blog and sale of training courses via WooCommerce

In addition to the shop, the platform natively integrates a WordPress blog to share astronomy expertise and improve SEO (optimised via Rank Math SEO). The sale of specialised training courses has been integrated directly via WooCommerce, enabling unified management of physical and digital products, creating a real hub for enthusiasts.

Aware that the astronomy sector often lacked modern sites, we paid particular attention to UX/UI design. Using Elementor and careful front-end development, we created a fluid, aesthetic and reassuring digital experience, comparable to the standards of the major e-commerce platforms, in order to strongly differentiate Deep Space Astronomy and maximise customer satisfaction.
