Phase 1: Strategic Design and User Experience (UX)
Strategy: Defining an Intuitive and Reliable Platform for Lawyers and Clients
- Mock-up and Prototyping (Figma) : Detailed design of the user interfaces (UI) and paths for the two types of player (clients looking for a lawyer, lawyers managing their profiles and subscriptions). Creation of interactive prototypes to test and validate the ergonomics of the search, profile consultation and registration/subscription process prior to development.
- SEO study : In-depth analysis of the keywords used by people looking for a lawyer in French-speaking Switzerland (by speciality, canton, legal issue). This study enabled us to define an initial site architecture and content strategy optimised for natural referencing right from the launch.
Phase 2: Robust technical development with WordPress and Crocoblock
Strategy: Building a Flexible and Powerful Architecture for the Marketplace
- Technology foundation (WordPress & Elementor) : The use of WordPress as a content management system for its flexibility and rich ecosystem. Elementor Pro has been chosen for the visual construction of the pages (home, static pages, profile templates), enabling extensive customisation and easy maintenance.
- Heart of the Marketplace (Crocoblock Suite) : Intensive use of the suite Crocoblock to build business functions :
- JetEngine : Creation of Custom Post Types (Lawyers, Law Firms, Specialities, Cantons), taxonomies, custom fields (meta fields) for lawyer profiles (languages spoken, areas of expertise, indicative fees, photo, biography, etc.), and management of the relationships between these entities.
- JetSmartFilters : Development of the powerful multi-criteria search engine with dynamic filters (speciality, location, language, etc.) enabling users to refine their search in real time without reloading the page.
- JetFormBuilder / JetEngine Forms : Creation of registration forms for lawyers and, potentially, contact forms for profiles.
- JetThemeCore : Construction of dynamic templates for displaying lists of lawyers (archives) and individual profiles (single post).
- Subscription management (WooCommerce) : Integration and configuration of WooCommerce and its module WooCommerce Subscriptions to manage the different subscription levels (free, premium) offered to lawyers, including the management of recurring payments and differentiated access to features.
Phase 3: Key features and multilingualism
Strategy: Offer a complete solution and extend your reach
- Detailed Lawyer Profiles : Creation of rich profiles that can be modified by the lawyers themselves from their personal space, including all the relevant information for potential clients.
- Intuitive interface and professional design : Creation of a clean, modern design that inspires confidence, which is essential in the legal sector. Clear navigation and a simplified search process.
- Multilingual expansion : Development of versions of the site in German and English (via a translation plugin such as WPML or Polylang, managed by Geekworkers or the client) to reach a wider audience in Switzerland and potentially internationally.
